Venom Daoist Armor Guide for Black Myth Wukong – Chapter 4

In the Black Myth Wukong chapter 4 guide, you are in danger; you will fight with the Venom Daoistwho will be defeated two times—in the Webbed Hollow and the Temple of Yellow Flowers. It is added that successfully defeating him opens an area of a game to play.

Finding the Venom Daoist

The first time you come across the Venom Daoist is in the much larger area of the Webbed Hollow. Most Valuable thing In the course of the Upper Hollow, safely navigate through the ledge leading to the Pool of Shattered Jade and avoid several hanging cocoons. A large cocoon with the Venom Daoist is further down the small tunnel to the right from the shrine.

When you have dealt with him the first time, head down to the Temple of Yellow Flowers. As soon as the hiker understands this, he will find a branch of track at the right turn and move upward on the mountain. At the top head for an opening that descends a slope to an arena where you will fight him again.

First meeting with the Venom Daoist

First, in the battle, attack the Odd Cocoon so that its HP is reduced to half. The mature form of the Venom Ram is when it is weakened, the Venom Daoist shall appear with two swords and eight arms.

It may not be the strongest opponent, but it becomes rather difficult to notice his moves, especially in low light. Studying his moves will show a lot of gaps that you can capitalize on once he is entrenched in his rhythm. He normally starts with a normal attack, a double slash, and follows it by rolling on the ground and stabbing it before leaping on you to pound the ground.

Jump to dodge his first two blows and roll to one side to counter during his leap while he gets up. If one sword is placed [high] behind his back, then prepare for a fast dash forward. Avoid it and aim to get him when he is grounded, waiting to reset.

When near, he will exchange an overhead slash followed by a leap, or he will apply quick slashes and then rush towards you. Be prepared to sidestep or parry these attacks, and when he jumps back, you should take the opportunity to attack him from the back.

Unfortunately, this character ages, and as his HP is declining, he will add sword slices to the combo string. If he rolls towards you, don’t bother sliding and instead concentrate on his jump when he comes again. He will open up by using some of his minuses in the beginning fights and then pull back, but don’t you dare think that’s the last of him. He also gives experience points when he is beaten.

Second Time Meeting The Venom Daoist

In the second fight, the Venom Daoist will have two more arms than before (if you took off any in the fight prior), but his basic techniques are the same. You will still be able to watch him do the crouching slash and leaping attack like before.

Attacking his additional arms causes some damage and, if both land, can engage the second phase. He likes to have some fast attacks on the go, so be sure to exit the background when he is low with a sword pointed at you.

He now has a new ability: charging at you with one of the swords while throwing the other at you. However, if you can sever off both of those additional arms, he will go to the second level, and his ‘core’ appendages will remain.

In this phase, he gets angry and uses a lot of variations of combos. He may jump and throw swords, leaping slashes and sometimes fast-spinning slashes that are hard to dodge.

His strongest attack is to punch rapidly, then jump and throw a powerful slam, so avoid and stay out of grappling range as much as possible.

What After Defeat? – Final Thought

After you defeat him, he will tell you a riddle about where to find the needle of Purple Cloud Mountain. There will be a mural on the adjacent wall, and one of them culminates in Chapter 4’s Secret Area, which you will need to unlock as a final boss in this Black Myth Wukong chapter 4 guide. Make sure that you look into this section quite a bit before moving forward, however!
